One of our sweetest stories here at Everett and Elaine Bakery, named after Kevin Lampman’s grandparents, is that our local family orchards produce arguably the best pecans in the area and once Kevin met the brilliant baker Yang Wu, a sweet tooth’s dream became a reality. Those pecans were put to good use bringing classic desserts back into fashion with only real, wholesome ingredients.
Kevin Lampman and Yang Wu were inspired to take their bakery concept to the public in 2015, using pecans from the Lampman family orchards, and other seasonal fresh-grown ingredients from the surrounding area. Their first concept started in the Dallas farmer’s markets, and soon expanded to local coffee shops and online ordering for their sweet treats. Their notoriety grew and with that came their acceptance into Legacy Hall, and to the delight of Plano.
