Beads and Bling: It's Fat Tuesday

Turn up on Fat Tuesday (February 25) for our third annual Fat Tuesday Parade! Catch all the beads as the Big D Marching Band parades through Legacy West starting around 5:45 PM, and descends on Legacy Hall around 6:15 PM to march throughout all three floors throwing beads and beats. The kids will definitely want to stop by the Mardi Face Painting Station from 5-7 PM

At 7:30 PM, the talented musicians of the Bobby Falk Group will take the stage as they play all the jazz songs you love.

Get ready to party from 3pm to close with $8 Hurricanes, Creole fare, live jazz bands, beads, mini-king cakes and MORE!

The Italian Job  is pulling out all the stops with a traditional New Orleans  Shrimp Po Boy, featuring Cajun fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, spicy remoulade and mayo, on a 8 inch French roll.

Swing by Haute Sweets and grab some mini King Cakes from Friday, February 21- Tuesday February 25.

Anyone can celebrate Mardi Gras! Including Degenhardt’s Brat Haus who will have a specially made Cajun Provolone Brat available for the entire month of February. Think: seared bell peppers, Cajun seasoning and melted provolone topped with a spicy Creole mustard. Believe us, you don’t want to miss this limited time special.
